Our Philosophies

The mission of the surgical practice is to provide timely, appropriate, and individualized medical and surgical care of patients at a time when outside forces threaten these time-proven methods of patient care.

Not infrequently, surgeons are consulted when disease processes have passed the early stages. We strongly urge patients to have operations performed for the correction of problems such as breast abnormalities, hernia, varicose veins and other potentially serious problems before complications of the disease process occur.

We also urge the female patients 40 years and older to have timely annual screening mammography and all patients with usual risk for colon cancer to begin screening colonoscopy at age 50. Vigilance is the order of the day and taking control of disorders before they take control of the patient's life is beneficial to the patient.
